General Information

The Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition is an unprecedented artisan exhibition of jewellery and watches held annually in Qatar to attract world-known jewellers, watch exhibitors and enthusiasts. The very idea of the exhibition is to demonstrate the latest trends in the world today, portray the dynamism of Qatar as well as its strong and progressive economy and encourage foreign investors to Qatar.

Mission and Vision

In keeping with Qatar’s ambitious development goals and under the wise leadership of His Highness the Emir, Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, a decision was made to organise an annual exhibition of jewellery and watches that will demonstrate Qatar’s dynamic economy. The exhibition would serve to encourage and promote specialised industries and to encourage the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) sector of the economy.

An unquestionable success, the previous exhibitions attracted some of the world’s most prestigious and recognised names in the jewellery and watches design and manufacturing industry and proved Qatar’s ability to attract investment. With the precedent set so high, the organising committee has endeavoured to create an even more impressive exhibition in 2011. Inspired by Qatar‘s tradition of jewellery design the organisers hope to establish the exhibition on the international agenda of jewellery and watch enthusiasts.

To exhibit the latest trends and designs by the world’s foremost artisans in jewellery, watches and precious stones manufacturing at an annual international exhibition.

Objectives

To establish the exhibition as an annual event; to attract the world's leading jewellery and watch manufacturers to take part in the exhibition; and to attract jewellery and watch enthusiasts from Qatar, the Gulf and the Middle East.

Future Ambitions

The Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition aims to distinguish itself from other exhibitions to eventually become the chosen venue for product launches in the world of jewellery and watch design and manufacturing. Our aims are to establish high standards for the exhibition; to attract elegant and exclusive exhibitors and tasteful spectators; and to achieve a reputation with a wide range of international investors as a leading exhibition for jewellery and watches.
